Katie Anderson has invested the last 18 years of her life in various leadership roles and sales positions with both corporations and non-profit organizations in multiple industries. She is passionate about education, teaching and coaching. She has a BA in English with an emphasis in Writing and a Minor in Communication from CSUCI where she also earned two California Teaching Credentials.
Katie is a certified speaker, trainer and coach with the John Maxwell Team and through DISC, and she earned her certification in the CAP Equation as a certified Sales Trainer.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys the Colorado seasons outdoors — running races, hiking and camping with her husband Jason and their son Logan. Katie is passionate about health and fitness, and is a writer, a runner and an entrepreneur who loves helping people.
Jason’s mission in life has always been to be “of service to others.” His career path has been eclectic. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard. He served at units that focused on search and rescue, as well as law enforcement. After nine years of active duty, he transitioned into the “civilian” world by starting a successful personal training company in Southern California, while remaining in the Coast Guard Reserves. He ultimately attained the rank of Chief, which he considers one of his biggest achievements.
The outdoor lifestyle of Colorado called, and he and his wife moved to the Denver North Metro area. Once in Colorado, he worked in the Fire Service for a few different municipalities. He followed his wife into the employee benefit industry and has loved it ever since. Jason believes that excellent customer service is the center of his business and client relations.
Jason has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science from Aims Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne, and is currently working on his Master’s in Business Administration from CU Boulder in the evenings.
Jason spends his free time in the mountains with his wife and son whenever he can. He enjoys fly fishing, backpacking, and training for races in running and triathlons.
